    Default Update Template in Dreamweaver

I'm taking over a site using dreamweaver mx 04. Should be simple but must be missing the obvious. But I've never used dreamw before.

Site uses a template for most of the navigation. It's a .dwt file. I've changed some links in the dwt and it works if you load the page from within dreamw but it never goes live.

Hopefully I'm clear enough in my question.

I must be missing a spot to update or something

    TIA

It sounds like it's just dreamweaver updating alot of pages. If your pages have alot of graphics on them this will also probably slow it down when it is updating them.

It could also be because your computer does not have alot of memory, you could test this by doing the following:

Try updating a large number of pages but make sure they don't have much on them - if it takes the same time as it does for the pages you are updating with graphics and everything else it probably is not your computer and is dreamweaver. If however, it is alot quicker at updating the same number of pages then you could try upgrading your computer's memory.

To my 3 years of experience with Dreamweaver the only thing you can do is update them one at a time. It might be painstaking but that's why you hire people.
