Updater 2?
Does Updater 2 include Updater 1? Or do I need to apply 1 followed by 2?
Thanks in advance

Re: Updater 2?
Updater 1 includes Updater 2. However you must still apply the Updater 2 after installing the latest installer from the macromedia website.

I am confused. Please help. With other MM products, 2 is a later version
than 1. This suggests that 1) I apply Updater 1 and then Updater 2 or 2) I
apply only Updater 2 since it includes Updater 1. Your response is very
different.

Re: Updater 2?
Sorry, no wonder you're confused. That was my fault, it should have read 'Updater 2 contains Updater 1'.

Re: Updater 2?
Ok, lets clarify some things here. Stoem wrote "Updater 1 includes Updater 2",
which later replys back saying it suppose to be "Updater 2 includes Updater 1".
I understand stoem message up to this point. In the next sentence, "you must
still apply the Updater 2 after installing the latest installer from the
macromedia website". What exactly is the "latest installer"? If I install
this "latest installer" I have to re-apply Updater 2? Please help.

Re: Updater 2?
What I am trying to say is this:
If you download the FCS software and install it then it will check out as
version 1.5. Only after you apply Updater 2 will you be running 1.5.2
<fcs_install_dir> must be substituted with your actual installation directory,
usually this is
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Flash Communication Server MX
Hope this helps

Re: Updater 2?
It?s starting to make sense.? In c-prompt, I need to do these lines now:
xcopy *.exe fcs_1_5_backup
xcopy *.dll fcs_1_5_backup
xcopy modules fcs_1_5_backup\modules /s /i
I tried the line on top and c-prompt does not recognizes it. Also I have no
modules directory, should I have one?

Re: Updater 2?
Hi,
you don't need to use the msdos prompt to copy, you can simply copy and paste the files in place, replacing any existing ones
