shot, consider using the proprietary UPDATE FROM with a JOIN allowed by SQL
Server. If you have covering indices, it is pretty fast.

Re: updates
You are referring to the latest Critical Updates from Windows Update or
Automatic Updates, correct? Please post your answers to the questions below
in microsoft.public.windowsupdate, via
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsupdate in your
newsreader (e.g. Outlook Express) or
"windowsupdate" in this list
http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?icp=mscom&slcid=US
1. What updates did you install? You can go back to Windows Update and view
your history to find out.
2. Check these logs for errors and let us know what you find:
C:\WINDOWS\Windows Update.log
C:\Program Files\WindowsUpdate\V4\iuhist.xml
NOTE: Your computer may have these logs in different locations. For
example, Windows might be installed to D:\WINNT, so the first log would be
located there.
If you have trouble finding those, try this: click Start and Run, type (or
paste from this message) the following and press Enter, once for each log
(note the space between Windows and Update in the first):
%windir%\%windir%\Windows Update.log
%programfiles%\WindowsUpdate\V4\iuhist.xml

Re: updates
right click your Desktop and select Properties->Settings Tab. You should be
able to slide the "Screen Resolution" slide to the left to increase the
pixels. Common size for 17 inch monitor would be 1024X768 but you might
prefer a larger setting like 800X600

Re: Updates
That depends on exactly what happens.
Is your specific issue here:
http://www3.telus.net/dandemar/wufix.htm
Otherwise perform the Windows Update Checklist:

Re: updates
Pinto, With my copy of Publisher 2000 you "Save as a web page...", not
"Export...". If you don't see that under File, then perhaps you are working
with a print publication and need to convert it by selecting "Create website
from current publication...", and then you will have the option of Saving as
a web page. Are you sure you are not using Publisher 2002? DavidF

Re: updates
Export as is applicable ONLY to SP1 of version 2002.
The Pub 2002 disk is required to install the SP1.
I do believe however that the latest SP3 release can be downloaded in a
version that includes SP1, SP2, SP3 and that can be installed without the
original install media. Check the Office update site.

Updates
I am continually getting an update message to update FlashPlayer6. I don't have
'6 installed, I have whatever the latest version is, so , of course, I get the
message "Update failed." How do I stop this please? Thank you.
