Updating Multiple records fields in a database atonce

Is it correct that there is no user interaction on these forms? I didn't see a
submit button. Or does someone click on a submit button to get to this page?
The cfupdate is trying to update any record that fits the criteria ie payment
is due within two weeks. There is no user interaction i am trying to get it to
update this field automatically. any ideas cfform may not be the right way to
go about it Thanks:confused;
