    Default Upgrade

I upgraded from win-me to win-xp but I cant get my dial-
up modem to work. It says drivers are not compatable with
xp. Any suggestions to resolve this problem.

    Greetings --

    If the modem's manufacturer can't or won't provide WinXP-specific
drivers for your modem, you best option may well be to replace it with
    one that is WinXP-Compatible.

All I know about this modem is what information I got
from the installation screen :PCI 56k voice
modem\Conexant. But I understand Conexant doesnt make
modems just the chips for modems. Also when I open the
tower the only numbers I can see where the phone jack is
are MC700, is there somewhere else I need to look for
    more info?

I have Photoshop 5 and would like to upgrade to 7.

Will using a PS 7 Upgrade work on a full version of PS 5 or do you need to have PS 6 in order to upgrade to PS 7

I know math that they taught me in about 2nd grade. 18 months (average release time for the last couple of upgrades) from the release of v7 puts us around oct or november as the guesstimated release date for 8. That plus all the rumors that have been floating for months now adds up to gotta be soon! :)

    Default upgrade

I'm currently using Filemaker Pro 2.1 at home and hope to persuade my Music
Festival to invest in the latest version (6?). Will I be able to transfer
the data from 2.1 to 6 easily?

In FMP 6, from the File menu, select Open and browse to the 2.1 file. You
will be prompted to create a 6 version of the old file, while preserving the
original. The migration is reasonably seamless.
