Upgrade from windows 98 to XP - Web Design

We have upgraded to XP from windows 98, when we tried to view the graphics within publisher we had an error message not enough memory to load embedded graphics. We have upgraded the graphics card from 128 - 256Mb with no success. Can anyone offer anyother suggestions on how to resolve this. Every thing else is fine. -- highwayman...

I've seen that quite often on my own system with embedded fonts. I just tell
it not to load them - and then it works fine. Are you offered any options or
does it just flash that message?

Mad it wasn't talking about your graphics card memory - but I wish I had a
128 Mb card. It was system memory. (I think)

Hi There was no options, just the message and no graphics within the box. The
    Ram is 128Mb.

I can make a suggestion based on what I would try. There may be another way
    tho.

Can you copy the graphic (even if you can't see it) and paste it into Word?
Then delete that graphic from the Publisher doent. Then paste it back
    into Publisher.

I know - sounds like a really funky thing to do but I'd try it anyway. Are
    there a lot of graphics?

    I just found this:

You receive a "Not enough memory to load graphics or embedded objects" error
message when you open a Publisher publication
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;262855

Your answer may be in here.
