Upgrade install query
Im looking to upgrade to Version 7, but need to install on a different drive to
my 6.1 installation due to space issues. Is there any way i can keep my
existing settings ie datasources that currently exist?
do i uninstall 6.1 then install 7 or install 7 first before uninstalling 6.1?
the fact im installing on a different drive, will this pick up existing
settings or not?

Re: Upgrade install query
The different drive should not be an issue. You can install 7 while 6.1 is
installed. They do not interfere. Just run cfmx7 using its internal webserver
only. You can configure it to your webserver when you are ready to uninstall
6. The configuration wizard that runs the first time you open the CF admin of
7, will import your settings.
