Upgrade Question

We currently run Acrobat 5 in our company, and have been asked to enquire about the legalities of using the product upgrade.

The question is, if we upgrade our Acrobat(s) to V6, can we still install and use V5 on other machines. Or does the license transfer to the version.

Ie if I have 10 copies on 10 machines, after I purchase the upgrade edition, can I then install V6 on 10 new machines, and still keep V5 on the original 10.

No, the upgrade is a license transfer. You can only lgeally use it on the same machine where you use (or used) Acrobat 5.

If you could do it your way, you could buy one copy of 5 and 20 copies of 6 Upgrade.

Install 5.0 on copmuter 1, upgrade it and use 5.0 on Comouter 2, then upgrade Computer 2 and run 5.0 on Computer 3, then upgrade Computer 3...etc.

There are several different upgrade packages. One will upgrade Acrobat
6 or 7 Standard to Acrobat 7 Professional. Another will give you a
shiny frisbee.
