    Default Upgrading

Can you update from Adobe Photoshop Limited Edition 5.0 to the full version
(current) by just buying the upgrade package (version 7's upgrade package)
or can you only activate this product against an early PS edition which is
not a "limited" edition. Description online of the product was not clear on
    this point.

    Default upgrading

    Hi,
I have perl 5.6.0 on a Linux box and want to install 5.8.1 on it and remove
    the earlier version.

The install is pretty straightforward, but I don't know how best to remove
the old version. Intuitively it would appear that blowing off everything
that has 'perl' in the filename in /usr/bin (maybe /usr/sbin as well) and
    all the directories in @INC.

Thanks for sharing any relevant experiences.
    Cheers,
    Tim

    Default Re: upgrading

What distro? Most of the times either you'll do something like $ rpm -U
    ../perl.rpm or make clean.

    Default Upgrading

My work is upgrading their coldfusion 5.1 to coldfusion MX. We have received a license. How do I go about upgrading to MX with only a license?

You have to install MX with that serial number. See
