    Default Upgrading a G4 from 9 to OS X

I've looked on the web and found some stuff, but nothing on point. Can I go
from OS 9 to OS X directly? Do I have to go to 9.1 first? I have about 10
gigs free disk space. Are there any problems?

There is no real relation between OS 9 and OS X. They are completely
different animals. Installing OS X will get you updates to OS 9,
    though, for compatibility with Classic.

10 GB free disk space is probably on the small side, but it should work.

OS X can't use anything prior to OS 9.1 for Classic.
