Good! I was going to install the upgrade on a new system I'm building. I was going to put the upgrade disk in and let it prompt me for the version 6 disk for verification. This is how I do Microsoft products and it works well for a clean installation.
I was just curious about the academic notice, since I am getting tired of seeing it.
