Upgrading to CF 7 and JRUN question
A question about CF installation notes:
"If you already have JRun 4 installed and you want to use the server instance
creation feature of ColdFusion MX 7, you must uninstall it before you install
the multiserver configuration of ColdFusion MX 7." (Page 25, CFMX 7
installation guide).
So, if I have a server running CFMX 6 on a JRUN platform, and I want to
install CFMX 7, MultiServer, along side my CF 6 installation. I know that this
is possible, as I've done it on a development server. My question is this - do
I have to completely uninstall JRUN from my production server (and, thus,
existing sites)?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Upgrading to CF 7 and JRUN question
I am getting ready to upgrade my CFMX 6.1 installation, which has just the
single JRUN instance, with CFMX 7 and wish to install with multiple instances
(up to three) on a single server. I'll continue to search around for an
answer, but am posting this as a follow-up to David's question, in hopes that
someone can point me in the right direction for clear instructions on such an
upgrade.
Thanks in advance.
