How do I upload a powerpoint file with contribute?

Is there something special that needs to be done.

    Is it even possible?

    Thanks!!

    Nothing special at all:

    1. Browse to the page where you want to provide a link to the PowerPoint
    you'll be uploading.

    2. Edit that page. Add text if needed. Highlight the text you want to link to
    the PowerPoint.

    3. Click the Link button on the toolbar, and choose, "File on my computer."

    4. Click the Browse button in the middle of the dialog that will appear, and
find the PowerPoint file you want to upload. Select it, and click OK to get out
    of the dialog.

    5. Publish the page.

Both the edited file and the PowerPoint file will be uploaded to the site.

Make sure you're current on updates (at least 3.1); I seem to recall issues
    with this functionality in 3.0.

There is also a new feature in 3.11 that allows you to upload a specific file.
Select File > Publish file from my computer. There is also the option for Send
file from My Computer... that allows basicly send for review the file.

Both of these options would be good for PDF, GIF, JPG, PPT and other non-HTML
    based files.

Once the file has been uploaded, you can then link to it on the site.

I have a similar question. I have learned how to convert a PowerPoint file to
FlashPaper and upload it to my website. Unfortunately, my website is hosted by
a Learning Management System (LMS) that has native navigation features. These
features are common to all of the training documents on the site. If I convert
my .ppt file to FlashPaper, it puts all of the slides on one vertical file and
embeds FlashPapers navigation bar. Is there a way to pull a .ppt file into
Contribute and treat every slide as a single page without FlashPaper's
    navigation? Thank you.
