Uploading from Publisher to new website
I signed up for a website today for a local neighborhood association. I have created the website in Publisher. When I follow instructions for upload, I get the error message: "Can't find the URL http://" etc. This is the correct URL. Is it possible that I just need to wait overnight for the site to be active? Any advice is appreciated.

Re: Uploading from Publisher to new website
It typically takes a couple of days for the new domain to be accessible on
the net. I think the "official" language is 24-72 hours.
In the meantime you can access the site via it's IP address if the host
provided you one.

Re: Uploading from Publisher to new website
It is usually much quicker than that, but it CAN take a couple of days in a
worst case scenario. The worst i have personally seen was about 24 hours for
info to propogate, but it may be getting worse as time goes by.
