Uploading phpmyadmin to my web hoster

    Default Uploading phpmyadmin to my web hoster

    Hi all I am trying to build a login in site with dreamweaver. Now, my web
    hosts have MySQL on their server but i need to upload phpmyadmin to my server
    in order to start building databases. How do i do this? I can't understand the
    instructions!!! i know i need to change user, password info plus change other
    info, but how do i think up load this to my web host? I have dreamweaver so do
    i just upload the config.inc file? Alot to ask i know, but if you any
    suggestion i would be very grateful. Cheers

    I dont think thats possible since your administrator has to grant you
    privileges to install on the administration server. PhpMyAdmin usually
    works on the same machine as the server unless you tell the mysql that
    reside on the server to allow direct connections from your host/IP. Then
    you will need to configure phpmyadmin to login into your server IP.

    Your provider should have give you the phpmyadmin from their server.
    Please contact them and let them know you want that application. If not
    you can still have a local mysql with phpmyadmin running n your local site
    and just do the syncronization.
    Just make sure your users, database, and connection match the one your
    server.
