My client will be uploading to a server that has a similar ftp address tp:
[url]ftp://webserv.tln.lib.state.us/home/abcd/abcd/www/[/url] The abcd is actually
the library's letter code and they have a simple password to enter.
Presently they are using Composer ... and when they cloose Publish, it asks
for the HTTP or FTP location to publish to and that is what they type in ...
the last slash is followed by the page they are publishing to, ie. News,
Youth, etc.

They are testing the trial version of Contribute to see if it will work for
their needs. When they put various combinations of that server address in
Contribute, it can't find the server. I know nothing about the publishing
factor, or Contribute for that matter and I am at a loss as to what to tell
them.
