URGENT !!!

Hello,

I have just installed a V480 server. I try to access from serial port of the
v480 to a Terminal concentrator.
I get this error messages:

tip: /dev/term/a: Permission denied

all ports busy

***************************************

I change the /etc/remote file

I check the security on port rw and owner root

i disable the ttymon

Nothing is using port on /dev/term/a

I change the port to /dev/cua/a

i get the same problem

any idea

tip is running as uucp, try chmod 666 /dev/term/a
$ ls -l /usr/bin/tip
-r-s--x--x 1 uucp 55368 Sep 25 2001 /usr/bin/tip
