What OS are you running? What version of DB2 are you running? This
information is an important factor in giving you the right answer to your
question.
Have you read the manual for your OS and version of DB2? The manuals,
particularly the Administration Guide and the Command Reference often have
the answers to questions in them. That can save time, especially on a long
weekend (it's the Labour Day long weekend in North America)when few people
are using this newsgroup.
Do you still have the data that you loaded into the table originally, either
in another database or file or in a script? If yes, you could always
recreate the database if you aren't able to restore it.
Sorry, I have a busy day planned so I don't have the time to help more than
this.

Jason,
There are many possibilties. If you have a production system down, the quickest way to get help is to open up a
PMR with IBM support.

Re: Urgent , database in "Restore Pending" state, and I dont have backup image.
Hi,
Too bad, that was my production server....
Already open a PMR to IBM support , send all neccessary logs to them ,
but no feedback from them yet.
Plz suggest any alternative way, thanks.

Re: Urgent , database in "Restore Pending" state, and I dont have backupimage.
How long ago did you send the logs to them? If this is your production
server, it shouldn't be very long.

Re: Urgent , database in "Restore Pending" state, and I dont have backup image.
It's worthwhile to point out that DB2 v5 has been out of service since June
30, 2001. You won't get much of a response unless you've got a paid-up
support contract.

restore db mydb abort
something went wrong with your restore cmd, check containers, paths...etc
and try again.
Powell.
