Use of pixel fonts in flash

    Default Use of pixel fonts in flash

    I have problems using pixel fonts in flash, when I export a movie the pixel fonts got another apparience and see ugly, what can i do to to use pixels fonts in flash correctly??

    Make sure that the x and y coordinates are positioned on an exact pixel.

    EG: your textField._x should be 50 NOT 50.2

    This applies for all parent clips as well, so if your textField is inside a movieClip, the movieCLip must also be on an exact pixel. And if that MC is inside another MC then...well, you get the idea.

    If you are using dyanmic text, you will probably have to embed the pixel fonts, since they wont be available on most of your visitors' computers.

    Don't make them too large, either. Most pixel fonts are designed to be used only a t a specific size, usually 8 or 9 point.
