Don't Microsoft moderate these groups? Why is such an obvious trojan allowed?

Microsoft doesn't "moderate" the groups per se - they do have a filter that
removes some things (as you can see, the parent post is gone from the
news.microsoft.com servers). Whether your ISPs news servers also heed the
request to remove the parent post is up to your ISP.
