User Tracking - Coldfusion Server Administration

I need to track the IP addresses of the user who is going to access my web application developed in Coldfusion 5.0 on windows 2000 platform. Any idea how to do that within coldfusion admin setting?...

You could capture CGI.Remote_Addr at Logon or even application.cfm time and
place it in a database. If you don't want that overhead an alternative is to
p and import your WebServer logs once a day or so. That's what we do with
IIS. If you go that route be aware that everything is logged and you'll need
to filter out .jpg, .js, etc. if you're looking for accurate page hits.

Thanks for the kind note. I am kinda new to coldfusion. All I want is to track
IP address of the users who are accessing the website. Also if a page gives
error in server.log or application.log, I need to know what was the IP address
of the user who accessed that page.

Understanding your reply, how do we capture CGI.Remote_Addr in application.cfm?
