Users cannot publish and get error message
Hey everyone. This one is stumping us here at the office. Some clients have
been having a problem publishing things they have worked on from both their
home AND their office. The error message they have been getting is
[Q]Contribute encountered a network or file system error. Please try the
operation again, and contact the administrator if the problem continues to
occur.[/Q]
I have done a number of google searches for this error and came up with next
to nothing. The users are both connecting from XP machines using contribute 3,
which is the same set up we have here at the office. They have been able to
connect in the past and publish things, this started maybe a week ago.
Any one have any suggestions?

I would surely contact the ISP to see if they changed something on their side.

Re: Users cannot publish and get error message
Thank you very much for the quick response. I will give these a try and see
what is going on. The funny thing about it (and I should have put it in the
original post) was that it is only on this specific key that these users are
having a problem. Other users on the site can publish just fine (cross fingers
waiting for explosion).
I have resent them the key and are hoping that will makes things better for
now but I will certainly try your suggestions
