Default Users unable to edit pages

Hi,

I have a particular department in my company who cannot edit their pages as it
say they are currently being edited by anyother user. In the past when this
has occured I have searched the web server for .lck files and deleted them and
this resolves the issue.

However, in this case, there are no .lck files so I have no idea what to do.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Definately there should be a .LCK file. Say your page is on the url
http://servername/directory/page.htm, in the same page browse to
http://servername/directory/page.htm.LCK. You need to remove this or
just edit it and remove the contents of it and save it.

I guess, deleting the .LCK file still re-creates it on the fly. So try
to edit the .LCK file and remove the contents of it and try.

Later you may want to Create a Copy of the Current page and delete this
page which is being locked out.
