Using cfqueryparam with date and time??

OK when using cfqueryparam you can specify the cfsqltype as either cf_sql_date
or cf_sql_time. However what do you use if you want to search against the date
and time ie

// set cut off time
CutOffTime = DateAdd("n", -5, Now());
</cfscript>

<!--- get users online --->
<cfquery name="qCurrentUsers" datasource="#REQUEST.data#">
SELECT MemID
FROM Members
WHERE MemLastLogOn > #CutOffTime#
</cfquery>

I want to use cfqueryparam in the where clause but if I use cf_sql_date or
cf_sql_time I get unusual results?

have you tried CF_SQL_TIMESTAMP? i think whatever type is used is db dependent.
