Using Chinesse Fonts with Illustrator CS
Illustrator CS quits when using Chinesse fonts but Illustrator 10 is o.k. I've already installed fresh OS 10.3.3 system and im using PM G5 with 768MB ram. Even when copying chinesse text ffrom Text Edit to CS the wordings become garbled but copying the same text to Illustrator 10 is o.k on the same machine. Can someone help me...

It works fine here though not perfect.
Like this select the input tab in the international preference pane and select the version of Chinese you need by checking the box next to it. Then when you see the american flag in the top menu bar make sure that you drop that down and select the Chinese as the input language. Then in the character palette make sure you have a chinese font selected and active at the point that you make the text active. That should do it if you want you can go back to international and make the behavior for the computer Chinese as well..
