    Default using DLL in ASP

    I am using dll from ASP. it is working fine. But When I tried to use a
    method of dll that run a exe file which is sitting in a folder C:\. The
    ASP page didn;t give me an error but it is not launching my exe file If
    any body have any clue Please let me know Thanks

    What kind of EXE? If it is just a standard executable, you are not going to
    get it to work directly from ASP, as it will have a GUI. A GUI running on a
    server is not a good thing. If it is a COM EXE, you should be able to run it
    as if it were a DLL, however.

    It may also be a location problem, as C:\ is outside of root. WHen you use
    IIS 6 (Windows 2003) or a server locked down with the IIS lockdown tool, you
    cannot run a file outside of root due to transversal security concerns.
