Default Using documents in a book

I have several two-page files that I would like to include only the first page of in a book. These are double-sided sales literature hand-outs, with the back of each being basically the same, so I only want the first page in my book (catalog).

What I have been doing is just copying and pasting the first page of each file into a larger file, which works well, except when it comes to changes and updates. I end up updating the same thing in multiple places and it gets confusing.

Anyone have any ideas on this subject?

    Many thanks.

Default Re: Using documents in a book

The book tool may be just the ticket.

Make the handouts into two separate docs, a front page and a back page. To
combine them when you need to print, open a new book and add both docs, spit
    out a single PDF.

I'll assume you use multiple docs for the catalog. Use the book tool again
when you build these into PDFs, and point to the front page of the
handout...the same doc you pointed to before...when you need that page.

No guarantees this works for you...
