    Default Using Dreamweaver Extensions

Im trying to import an extension into my extension manager and the .mxp file
isn't highlighted so I can't select it in order to install the extension. I'm
wondering where the problem might be and how I can use this extension if
Extension Manager won't let me install it. thanks!

I'm assuming that you're on a Mac as I've heard of this issue on them.

Try using Finder to get to the MXP file's folder and then double
clicking the file. EM should open.

It's possible that you need to set the MXP file association to extension
    Manager.

Purchased PluginLab Vertical & Horizontal Flyout Menu, V1.4 Dreamweaver plugins
(Macromedia Dreamweaver Exchange top picks). After trying to use them, I
noticed that I had problems when placing multiple dropdown menus on one
webpage. The companies response to this problem is below. No where on their
website or documentation did I read that Pluginlab horizontal and vertical
menus do not allow multiple instances of the same type menu on a webpage. Is
this a JavaScript limitation or one built into Pluginlab horizontal and
vertical menus? Do other dropdown plugin programs have this limitation?
    Thanks for your help.

"Pluginlab horizontal and vertical menus do not allow multiple instances of
the same type menu on a page. For example, you can have one vertical menu and
one horizontal menu on a page, but you cannot have two vertical or two
horizontal menus on a page (unless they are in a different frame or iframe)."

The Manage Extensions... option in Dreamweaver MX (Education Edition) is grayed
out even after I've downloaded and installed Extensions Manager on OS X 10.4.
I've installed EM in its own folder (which is how it defaults). is that the
problem or is the Education Edition crippled in this way or what is going on?

This sometimes happens. You can open EM directly from its folder and
    install extensions as needed.

It's possible that a uninstall reinstall of DW might fix the issue, but
    may be over kill.

Well, I still can't manage extensions inside DW but at least I can use them there and that's what's most important, I guess.

    Thanks.
