Using Dreamweaver MX for Main Web on Linux?
With most of my websites, they've been virtual webs living ultimately with a "public_html" directory as their root. So when I set up Dreamweaver MX to connect with them via ftp, I had no problem. (These are all pre-existing sites. I just recently bought DMX so I wouldn't have to code using vi and by hand anymore. I wanted something faster.)
My main website, however, is in the normal /home/httpd/html location. There seems to be no way I can get DMX to connect to this location.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

You can create a ftp account and have the root dir of the ftp account same as your http root, put those values in dwmx ftp client and ur set.

Re: Using Dreamweaver MX for Main Web on Linux?
Thanks mucho.
I decided that since my MovableType install is in a subdir and I don't want it there, I'm going to set up a new directory structure that's easier to reach with a normal set-up and re-do the site from scratch. Now I just have to read through the docs on export/import of MT directories.
Thanks again!
