Using fonts that are not on c:\windows\fonts
is it possible to use fonts that exist not on the PC but on the web
server and get flash to load them from the web server
I want to create a small app to let the user choose a font (non
standard) and view some text they type in their chosen font and
possibly alter the size etc etc
Possible???

You have to embed the fonts. On this webpage (at the bottom) you'll find
a short explanation and a screenshot telling you how to do it:
