using javascript variable in coldfusion

Hi,
how can i use a javascript varaible in coldfsuon tags?i dont want to passthose variables via hyperlink cause i need tovalues in current page.

There are several ways to use JavaScript variables in ColdFusion, but all of them require a ColdFusion page load:

- Pass as a hidden form field
- Pass as a URL variable

What about setting a cookie or session variable?

If, for example, you want the result of a js calculation to populate the
value of an input in a cf form, so that you can pass the value to the
next page, just put this in the js:

document.formName.inputName.value = jsVariable;

If what you want to do seems more complex than this, please be more
specific.

Hi,

I hav used a <Cfparam name="xyz" default="A">.
And doing some operation i called a Javascript function and wants to change the xyz variable to some other value
function changeSet()
{
<cfset xyz="B">
}

I want the above ....... can it will be possible... plz help me
