Default Using MIDI files - plugins

Hi, new to CS4 but seem to be doing quite well learning on my own. I have
created a website and trying to put simple midi files on for music. It works
for me but when others refresh their page only one of the pages plays music.
When testing the website it says can't find plugin. The instructions say go to
action and behavior tabs but when I go there I find nothing. I have read some
instructions and not sure about all of ActiveX so if you can lend a hand it
    would be greatly appreciated.

This means that your system is set up to play midi files in a web page, but others aren't. You can't be sure that visitors will be able to play certain media types.

What instructions are you talking about that talk about going to the behaviors?

I've never had a need to add a midi file to a page, but a quick Google search returned this page, perhaps it will help:

Also, if there is not a very specific reason to be using midi files, then perhaps you'd want to generate MP3 files instead, as those tend to be easier to work with, and you can get a Flash player front end to be able to play/pause/stop and adjust volume. Maybe start out here:

And maybe take a look at some of the Dreamweaver extensions that seem to support MP3 files (shortened URL of adobe.com/exchange with a search in the DW exchange for mp3):

And maybe even take a look at SoundManager2 a JavaScript (and Flash) solution that can play sounds
