Using Seperate movie files.
Is it possible to split a movie into different movie files
and use a load movie into location script similar to flash so
my movie isn't so big???
If so what is the script for it?

Yes it is possible to use separate movie files (actually recommended for big projects) and a stub projector allows you to re-use the same DIR/DXR files for bot PC and MAC so long as you have a stub from each OS.
To simply open the next movie, use :
go to movie whichMovie
To open a new movie at a certain location:
go to frame whichFrame of movie whichMovie

Re: Using Seperate movie files.
The closest functionality in Director to Flash's load movie is the 'Linked Director Movie'.
You can import one Director movie into another as a linked file (just using File>Import). Make sure it is linked or you will get the media from the other file imported into your project.
LDMs are quite useful, but not fully supported, and there are a few quirks in the way they work. Search for 'LDM' on the group archives for more info. There is also a good article on DOUG (below)
