Default Using SnapShot in Acrobat to place in InDesign

When preparing a document in InDesign CS we sometimes need to use a graphic from a PDF file (Acrobat v6 Prof). When using the SnapShot tool to select the graphic and 'paste' to InDesign the quality is very fuzzy. Why should this happen?

Ordinarily we would place into a frame (and crop as necessary)a whole PDF page.

Good idea. NEVER copy and paste a raster graphic.

Can you use the edit object tool in Acrobat 6 to open the graphic in Photoshop and then save it from Photoshop as a .tif so you can place it in ID?

Are you talking about multiple objects at once, or just a single graphic? What about rasterizing the PDF in Photoshop (not ideal, I know), cropping to just what you need, then placing that?
