Default Using spacebar to pan when zoom tool selected...

    Hi,
Has anyone else noticed that using spacebar to pan when zoom tool selected in Indesign CS causes the Zoom tool to activate instead of Pan. This wasn't the case in 1.5, and it's driving me nuts! Now use Zoom, press V for select (or some other tool) and then use spacebar for panning. I know I can press H for Hand/Pan, but it used to be so convenient to use spacebar for panning all the time, not having to switch tool. What am I doing wrong?

    No - doesn't in CS.
    > What am I doing wrong?
Sorry - no idea. But I second you in a similar point, that it is not very
clever to "pan" with space-key using all tools except the text-tool (of
course "space" would do spaces into the text-field - therefore the text-tool
"pans" with Alt-key). I ask me every day what might be the reason for Adobes
not to define a common key to "pan" - as PM does with the alt-key.
Unfortunately mouse-actions cannot be defined in the shotcut-preferences...

The common key is the spacebar, as in other Adobe programs.

common except with text-tool, for natural reasons... So choosing spacebar as
an adobewide default was not the best clue Adobe had.

I fixed it by deleting the preference file.
