Using textfields that are dynamically generated - Macromedia Flash Actionscript

Hi, I have a question about using textfields that I'm generating dynamically. I am generating textfields depending on the number of records in a table. So the instance name I am giving for the textfields is "message_txt" + txtCount where txtCount = 0,1,2,.... (number of records). Now, when I want to display in the textfields, again dynamically, if I use "message_txt" + txtCount.Text = " "; it doesnt work. What am I doing wrong? How do I get this working? Smitha...

Default Using textfields that are dynamically generated

    Hi,

I have a question about using textfields that I'm generating dynamically.

I am generating textfields depending on the number of records in a table. So
the instance name I am giving for the textfields is "message_txt" + txtCount
where txtCount = 0,1,2,.... (number of records).
Now, when I want to display in the textfields, again dynamically, if I use
    "message_txt" + txtCount.Text = " "; it doesnt work.

What am I doing wrong? How do I get this working?

    Smitha
