v4 connection key nor working with Contribute v2

I just created a site using Contribute version 4, and the user says he can't
get in using the connection key I sent him - he is using Contribute version 2.

Before he upgrades to v4, are there any known issues with this? He's the only
site contributor. Or should I look for other causes?

Could this have anything to do with the Compatability or Transition Mode?

If you use a newer version of Contribute then your client, maybe yould should
check if the Compatability Mode is checked.

In the main menu go to
1. Edit,
2. Administer Websites,
3. then choose the right website
4. Point your mouse to Compatability (last in the list)
5. If you have a newer version then your client: check Transition Mode,
6. if you have the same version: check Compatability Mode.

Then make a new connection key and let your client try again.

Ahhh - it was set to Compatibility mode. I just switched and genreated a new key. Hopefully that will do it.
