v5 signature does not display as graphic
Acrobat 5 running on a Mac G4/450 OS 9.2
Original forms laid out in Quark, exported as pdf. I have a one page form with two signature fields. I scanned the hand written signatures and converted them to pdf. The files have been specified in Tools: signature>user settings>appearance>Graphic for the appropriate person and profile using Acrobat's default signature handler Self-sign. I deselect everything in the Text settings.
What I get looks like sample A. Text signature as shown in the illustration on page 195 of the help manual, Digitally signing PDF Files chapter.
Any ideas?
Thanks. Ali
