    Default V8.1 FP3 installation tells can't Install on V8.1.0 need V8.1.3

UDB 8.1 WSE without fixpack on win2000 server installed:
I try to install FP3 WSE.
    It tells me:
    "A DB2 product at version 8, release 1, modification 0 and service level 0
is already installed on this machine. The installation you are attempting to
perform is for DB2 at version 8, release 1, modification 3 and service level
WR21324, so will not be permitted"

So does this really tell me that I need FP3 being installed to install FP3
or does this indicate another problem?

    Thanks
    Klemens

There's a bug in our FP3 install code that looks for Fixpak 2. You can
either install fixpak 2 first, or hack around it like so:

    a. go into direcotry ~\sqllib\cfg (i.e. c:\ibm\program files\sqllib\cfg)
    b. find the file wse.lvl (may also be called wsue.lvl depending on
whether you installed Workgroup or Workgroup Unlimited Internet).
    c. copy this in the same directory to the name db2wse2.lvl (if that
    fails try wse2.lvl).

Please let us know whether this succeeds or fails. thanks

Does the same bug exist in the Linux version of FP3?
