Validate form behavior - Macromedia Dreamweaver

Make sure that your form is selected when you do the "Validate Form" behavio and that your "Show behaviors for..." option is set to at least "version 4.0 or later" browsers. Then onSubmit will be the default. -- Mike ------------------- Michael Langner Macromedia Technical Support supportinfomacromedia.com 1-415-252-9080 Treize13 wrote: > I have been searching to find behaviors for "onSubmit" in Validate from. > Dreamweaver MX has no "onSubmit" on the list in Validate behaviors...I need > to find download behavior for "onSumbit". Yeah, it's a little tricky... If you select the "Submit" button then
"onClick" is set since it calls the options available for buttons. If
you make sure the from is selected, you'll get the behaviors for the
form, among which is "onSubmit". =)

My mistake, sorry; Make that "IE 4.0". Then both the "Validate Form" and
"onSubmit" will be available.

Did you click the red border round your form to select the form itself,
rather than just the form contents? That'll do it.

Or click on the <form> tag on the QuickTagSelector.
