vector eps.....PS CS vs PS 7
I had an issue with an eps file that was saved in CS. It was saved without vector. (the save with vector box was unchecked) I can open this file fine with CS but PS 7 wants to rasterize it. PS 7 thinks there is vector in the file. Why???

Re: vector eps.....PS CS vs PS 7
I don't think so. I always save as Binary. If it was saved as ASCII 85, why would that make a difference?

Re: vector eps.....PS CS vs PS 7
Photoshop 7 doesnt know what ASCII85 is, or at least doesnt save with that option.
Testing here shows that a file saved as either ASCII or Binary from CS will open fine with 7 - with ASCII85 PS 7 has to rasterize the EPS.
