Ver 2 - Trouble with cropping
I have reloaded my program several times but each time when I try to use the cropping tool it will only crop in a square. Will not let me go side ways like I do when I use the select tool. Is there any setting or something I can do so I can pull my crop tool side ways. There are no small boxes on the side so I can do this.

Precise Cropping
Use Image/Canvas Size and type your requirements numerically -

Marlene, after you've selected the Crop tool, go to the toolbar for that
tool and click on the Clear button at the right end of the bar. That will
remove the constraints that are keeping you from getting full range of
motion on the tool.
