Vertical menus that add more items when you mouse overthem

I am not sure what these types of navigation menus are called. There will be a
bunch of links (arranged vertically). When you mouseover more sub-items will
appear underneath it.

Is this a flash thing? Or is there some way of doing it in Dreamweaver?
