Very Strange Problem

Hi Guys,

I have a user that is using Adobe Illustrator 10 and she has a very odd problem. When she tries to access her Illustrator files from the Recently Used Documents list (Win XP Pro) it shuts the list down. This is related to Illustrator because I have cleared the list and tested it with Word docs etc and it was fine.

I got her to send the Illustrator files to me and I tried to replicate the problem on my machine but I cannot.

As anyone on here heard of this problem before or can shed any light on it? I would be very grateful.
It's a stupid little problem but one that has me foxed!

I would tell her to try deleting the illustrator preference file - details
in the FAQ at the top of this forum's Topic List

I forgot to mention I uninstalled and reinstalled Illustrator. I am guessing this would of replaced the preference file anyway?

Are you questioning the Great Invocation?

By the stone/tree/waterfall (etc), in the Temple/Mosque/Church (etc), you just pray/praise and see what happens.

An Uninstall can only uninstall the files the installer installed. It didn't
install the aiprefs file - that was created when Illustrator was first run.
