i want to have my pc run two video cards but i only want
to put one monitor on it and have the second screen be
hidden so i can do work on the hidden side remotely so
no one can see what i am doing in the back ground can it
be done with soft ware or can it be done by soldering a
connector with jumpers to trick the pc into thinking that
i have two monitors hooked up.

What is the best way to add a link to a QuickTime file to a web page? How do
I set it up for the visitor to click on the link and it will automatically
begin downloading into a new window to play?
Thanks

Re: Video
You can provide a link to the MOV file, and it will download and open in QTP
if it's installed as a helper app.
You can also embed the player into your page. Check out some of the movie
trailers at http://www.apple.com/quicktime/ and take a look at the source
code for the page. You can see the object/embed tags that are used there to
place the movie player.
Best regards,
Chris

Hi, I just upgraded from MX to CS3. When I went to my video page it said that
some of the objects would not work with the new internet explorer and needed to
be updated. I clicked to up date and it changed two out of 30 of the videos
to flash with a swf extension. They both play but nothing else does and I
can't figure out how to change all of the other videos to the flash format.
The two that changed have the F flash signs and in the properties say Flash
where as all of the other have and image with a link that says
suchandsuchshow.htm. Why did it only change 2 videos and how do I change the
others. Do I have to go to the videos themselves and change them to shockwave?
My web designer passed away and I'm trying to figure out what he did and get
this site back up. Thanks.

You should ask your question in the Dreamweaver General forum ( http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/categories.cfm?forumid=12&catid=189&entercat=y ) as there is much more traffic and it's focused on general issues, and this one is focused on Dreamweaver extensions. Regardless, you will have to post a link to your page because no one can see what the issue is with some of your videos without actually seeing the page.> Hi, I just upgraded from MX to CS3.
