Ok, really struglling with this problem. I am not the developer but rather
manage the web projects that we create.
http://www.fscc-calledtobe.org/weinvite.htm this was a series of flash video of
TV commercials we created. The first time a >SWF file was created and it was
around 5-7 mb which was too big. People experienced pauses in the video due to
their internet connection. Then developer created a .FLV file which brought the
file size down to 3-4 mb but then he embedded the .flv file in a swf so we
could still use the player on the page. My question is this, what is the best
way to create the finished flash product? .FLV or swf? I go to some websites
and see much larger flash video lengths and the quality is better and their are
no pauses. Is it really that much of an improvement to go through a hosting
company like VitalStream? The bottom line is I am not happy with video quality
or the pauses and I dont know how to fix this....help please!
