Viewing pages in Netscape 7 puts extra slash in address. Not. - Macromedia Dreamweaver

I'm using Netscape 7.1 as my primary browser and as of the upgrade to 7.1 from 7, the browser address shows file:///Backup HD/Users/sharonstevenson/PERUMYCO/SF06.Toxins/Toxins.docs/Tox_3Tricho.html I.e., it has 3 slashes after the file: If I just delete one slash, it loads fine. But if not, the page will not load. Anyone have a solution, other than laboriously deleting every time!?? Sharon Stevenson Lima, Peru...

I dunno, maybe it's a default in the new version. But why not simply
bookmark it once instead of deleting the slash every time? Will that work?

No. I call up a lot of pages and the address is automatically inserted, so i have to do it everytime I call up a new page...

Do you mean that even if you bookmark the page when it's up, NN will
still add the extra slash next time you use the bookmark to open the doc?
    What's your platform/os?
