How do I check for virus in an uploaded file in a C# ASP.NET web application. I prefer to check for virus while the file(any office data file like .xls, .doc etc) is in memory and do not want to write it to the disk for virus detection. Basically I would like to know if the uploaded file contains in the ASP.NET application itself so that I can take appropriate action on that file. Is there any way to do this? Any information or pointers are appreciated
