    Hello

I would like to know how to turn the visability of a layer on when a button
is pressed and off, when the curser rolls out of the layer?

    Cheers

You can use the Show/Hide layer behavior in Dreamweaver to accomplish this.

Behaviours>Show/Hide Layers. Select button, select layer, select show or
hide, select event onMouseOver, onClick, etc.

Showing the layer is easy, but are you sure you want this?

If so, then that's a little more difficult to imagine, but easy to
accomplish by using a 'closer' layer as described here -

Hey if there is an image in the layer he could always apply an
onMouseOut hide layer to it or them.

I dont like to complicate things. Using the closer layer is a
    sophisticated version :)
