    Default vml and filesize

Thinking of buying/using Publisher - and I see that 2003 version is coming.
However, I am very turned off by the VML and the filesize - 2 meg for a 12
    page site is outrageous.

Also, my friend, in his webwork, often tweaks or edits the html created he
creates in publisher by hand - edits the html directly many times to get the
exact touch he wants on a page.

With all the VML stuff, this looks daunting - I will need to become an XML
or VB Programmer just to do my simple websites and there is no way i have
the time nor the inclination to do that!

    What are they thinking?

Well, I am thinking I should just get a PUBLISHER 2002 version instead of
this bloated stuff in 2003 version?? What say you?
